Rick Warren Library will have new window art displayed in the coming months thanks to Elverado High School students.  Twenty-three students from Mr. Tim Linduska's art classes at Elverado High School submitted artwork for new window designs.  Winners of this contest were:  Erin S., Erika W., and Gabe W.  Contest winners will transfer and paint their designs and will receive $25 dollars upon completion of this project.

Rick Warren Library board members had a difficult time picking only three winners as entries into this contest were very good.  The following Elverado students are also recognized for their artistic talent and effort:  Dallas C., Priscilla C., Chelsey C., Kaydee D., Trevor E., Abigail G., Megan H.,  Caitlyn J., Rebecca K., Cheyenne L., Nikki M., Lacey Q., Jennifer S., Christopher S., Karley S.,  Alicen T., Joel W., Zach W., and D..  All artwork is displayed at the Rick Warren Library and will be up until February 29th.

This is a reminder of IL House Bill 72 which makes it illegal for drivers to use cell phones in school or construction zones, unless they are the hands-free variety. If you would like more information about this law then check out this link.
