The Super Bowl #46 between the New England Patriots and the New York Giants will be held in Indianapolis, Indiana on February 4th at 9:00 p.m.

This should be an exciting event for football fans everywhere. Tom Brady, New England Patriots quarterback is playing in his 5th  Super Bowl and is said to be one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL.

The last time the Patriots and the Giants played in the Super Bowl,  the Giants won 17 to 14. While New England dominated most of the game, the Giants won on a last second drive, capped by an amazing Plaxico Burress grab. Four years removed from the excitement, the website www.foxsports.com ranks the last Giants and Patriots Super Bowl #1 of all time.   Eli Manning is going into his 2nd Super Bowl and is looking to cement his legacy. The Giants and the Patriots have already played once this season and the Giants won 24 to 20. Tom Brady is going to his 5th Super Bowl and has won all 3 of those. Most feel that Brady is already a hall of famer, but a 4th Super Bowl win would put him up with the likes of Joe Montana. Eli Manning’s brother Peyton Manning may be putting pressure on Eli with his neck injury, and a need to represent the family name. With Peyton’s neck injury possibly putting him out of the football business for good, will Eli be able to pull off his 2nd Super Bowl win with all that pressure to be better than his brother?

The Patriots stats look better than the Giants but don’t count them out yet. Star quarterback Eli Manning has a 61% passing rate and has attempted 123 and has completed 756 for 2011 stats says espn.go.com Tom Brady has a 68% passing rate and has attempted 70 passes and has completed 48. The staff of EJHS all agrees that the New York Giants will win the Super Bowl.
