Transformers the Movie

From a popular 1980’s cartoon and toy line transformers became. Transformers is a story about Autobots [which are heroic honorable huge robots] and the Decepticons [which are bad huge robots that want to destroy everything.]

            The plot of the movie is that on a far away planet named Cybertron there is a war. The war is between the Autobots and Decepticons. Unfortunately for us, this war spills onto our planet, as both sides search for an ancient source of power. A high school student named Sam Witwicky buys a new car. To his surprise it was Bumble Bee, one of the Autobots. Bumble Bee saves Sam and his girlfriend Mikaela Banes. 

            The Autobots and Decepticons are looking for the Allspark [which is a huge metallic cube that made Cybortron and all that inhabit it]. Our hero Sam, is unknowingly in possession of information that will lead to the Allspark .The Autobots and Decepticons are also fighting to get the adopted planet Earth, and eventually help us or enslave us.

The Autobot leader is Optimus Prime and the leader of the Decepticons is Mega Tron. All of the robots can transform into all most any mechanic thing they “scan”. A high point in this film is when these two leaders meet, and Optimus Prime says “ One shall rise, the other shall fall”

 Although many critics have panned this film, we love the action scenes and the CGI in this film. The jokes are funny, and the story is great. When we watched the film we were not looking for a movie to revolutionize our view of the action genre. We simply went to see this film as a way to be entertained, and we were!
